The meeting tax

You ran the meeting. Now you're paying for it.

The work that happens after the call is where most teams quietly fall apart.

Action items get orphaned

Three people agreed to "follow up." None of them remembered which one. The work falls through, and nobody can say exactly when it happened.

"What did we decide about…"

The answer is buried in a 52-minute recording from three weeks ago — assuming anyone hit record. So you guess, or you ask again.

No matches. Scrub 52 minutes of recording to find out.

Notes pull you out of the room

You can listen and engage, or you can take good notes. Not both. The team needs you to do both, and everyone knows how that goes.

…wait, what did she just say?
How it works
